Lisa Gade reviews the Dell Inspiron 11 3000, a 2-in-1 Windows 8.1 convertible with an 11.6" touch screen and Lenovo Yoga style 360 degree hinges.
You can use the 3 lb. Inspiron 11 as a laptop, tablet, presentation or tent mode device and it runs full Windows 8.1 64 bit on Intel Celeron dual core or Pentium quad core CPUs with Intel HD graphics. We look at the 2.16GHz Pentium model with 4 gigs of RAM and a 500 gig, 5400 RPM HDD and a 1366 x 786 display.
The laptop has 3 USB ports, HDMI, 3.5mm audio, single band WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 43 wHr battery. The Inspiron starts $399, and Dell will offer a 13" model in the fall of 2014.
