MERCI WILL 'RETIRE WITH PRIDE' - LAWYER

Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez will not resign from her post and will "retire with pride" next year, her lawyer told the House Justice Committee on Wednesday.

Gutierrez sent her lawyer, Anacleto Diaz, to the House Justice Committee on Wednesday to participate in the impeachment proceedings.
