A day after featuring President Aquino, CNN interviewed DILG Secretary Mar Roxas on Thursday drawing mixed reactions from netizens.
Filipinos who were glued to their TV sets during the news network interview were mostly dismayed with the Interior secretary’s answers to CNN anchor Andrew Stevens.
When the CNN correspondent asked, “Why do i keep passing the same bodies day after day?”, Roxas replied: “They’re not the same bodies.”
“The situation is under control since day 1 after the storm,” he added.
Netizen were quick to react, saying that Roxas were very defensive and covering the exact situation. Some would even comment on his aspirations of presidency in 2016. Here are some of the reactions as posted in Twitter:
