Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has signed two ordinances that grants financial assistance for Grade 12 students of public schools, solo parents, Persons with disability (PWD), and senior citizens.
Based on the social media post, P500 monthly allowance is part of the social amelioration package.
Ordinance No. 8564, qualified Grade 12 students enrolled in public schools in Manila would receive P500 monthly.
Meanwhile, Ordinance No. 8565 provides P500 as allowance for senior citizens, persons with disability, and solo parents. Beneficiaries must be residents of the City of Manila. — BAP, GMA News
