These are the effects of toxins from food additives, industrial chemicals including pesticides, secondary smoke and air pollution we encounter every day.
Detoxification is one of the ways to get rid of these harmful substances from our body and toremain healthy in a polluted and toxic environment.

Because detox can be a little bit pricey, there are other types of detox you can try at home. However, these are not meant for long term benefits. It is advisable to consult your doctor or nutritionist for your best detox needs to obtain the maximum result.
* Lemon water. Just add lemon to your water through out the day. The acid in the lemon assists the cleansing process. Citrus fruits, such as lemons, contain a pure, concentrated form of citric acid. Citric acid works like bleach on fat. Due to its acidity and high pH, citric acid is able to actually penetrate and break down fat molecules.
* Epsom bath salts. Hot water draws toxins out of the body to the skin’s surface, and while the water cools it pulls toxins from the skin. Epsom salts augment this detoxification by causing you to sweat. Also, when added to water, these natural salts can help to cleanse your colon.
* Apple detox diet. For three or four days, eat nothing but raw early ripening apples, like red or yellow Delicious. You should try to eat at least six (organic) apples a day.
* Detox pills. Many companies are offering pills that will cleanse out your system without any extra work. Just take one a day and your detox has begun. This might be a little pricey.
Others take a 24-hour juice fasting of vegetables or fruits, because of its high-fiber content, flushes out toxins fast.
You also need to take dietary changes – avoiding meat is one. Avoid also high carbohydrates or sweeteners, and eating more vegetables and fruits or garlic.
