Lisa Gade reviews the LG G Watch R Android Wear smartwatch. The G Watch R has a round 1.3”, 320 x 320 P-OLED display and a sporty diver watch design. It has a black stainless steel casing and a black leather band (standard 22mm).
The $299 smartwatch requires an Android phone running Android 4.3 or higher as its companion and it has Bluetooth but no 3G. Like most Android Wear watches, it runs on the 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU with 512 megs RAM, 4 gigs of storage and a 410 mAh battery.
It has a pedometer and heart rate monitor.
