‘BATA’ REYES, CORTEZA POST SECOND STRAIGHT WINS IN UAE

NOGUERA, Manila Times LEGENDARY cue master Efren “Bata” Reyes and Lee Van Corteza cruised to their second straight victories in the prestigious World 8-Ball Pool Championship 2011 at the Fujairah Exhibition Center in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. Reyes sent compatriot Dennis Orcollo in the loser’s bracket via a 7-5 decision while Corteza clobbered Mehdi Rasheki, 7-3, in the tournament sanctioned by the World Pool-Billiard Association.
