The Samsung Galaxy Win was announced last week in China as a exclusive, but today the company announced it's going to be making the mid-ranger available globally. The Galaxy Win is equipped to handle demanding tasks while still providing an effortless user experience with intuitive features including dual SIM support, a large display for optimal viewing, Easy Mode.
The smartphone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, packs a 4.7” TFT screen of WVGA resolution (199ppi pixel density). It has a 5MP camera that shoots D1 video, a 0.3MP front-facing camera and a microSD card slot. The battery has 2,000mAh capacity.
This new device comes with a wealth of enhanced smart features, including:
- Easy Mode: A simple and intuitive homescreen mode for streamlined access to your top functions
- Smart Alert: Notifications for events you may have missed (calls, messages, deadlines) when you pick up the phone
- Motion UX: Utilize functions such as Mute, Refresh & Update, and Scan for other devices with simple motion controls
