Government employees can enjoy FREE rides on MRT and LRT this coming Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in celebration of 112th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary.

Time: 7am - 9am and 5pm - 7pm
The free MRT rides for government workers would start at 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. while free LRT lines 1 and 2 rides would be from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., respectively.
For those taking the MRT, valid IDs should be presented to the assigned security personnel. Workers will have to log their names before being issued a boarding pass and these passes must be surrendered to the guard on-duty upon getting off the MRT.
Further, those taking LRT must present their recent and valid office IDs to the designated station teller. Also, commuters of LRT must exit before 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to avoid paying the regular fare.
