K+12 REJECTED

The Federation of Associations of Private School and Administrators (FAPSA) Friday said that the Department of Education (DepEd) should “let private schools enjoy status quo of its 10-year education cycle and let K+12 be implemented only in public schools.”

FAPSA President Eleazardo Kasilag said this option would give students a choice. “It is also fair because if students want free education, they may get it for 12 years. But if they want it short, pay for the 10 years in the private schools,” he explained. [ FULL STORY ]
