By Aurea Calica (The Philippine Star) MalacaƱang said yesterday it would be up to the Office of the Ombudsman to file plunder charges against former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) comptroller Jacinto Ligot for allegedly amassing wealth while he was still in the military. Sen. Franklin Drilon, chairman of the Senate committee on finance, has bared a supposed attempt by the Ombudsman to cover up for Ligot. |
