TWO lawmakers yesterday credited President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III for the smart handling of sensitive information on the supposed backers of former military comptroller Maj. Gen. Carlos Garcia after Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV allegedly implicated big personalities in the string of corruption in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).Ilocos Norte Rep. Rodolfo Fariñas and Cavite Rep. Joseph Emilio Abaya Jr. said President Aquino did the right thing in light with the flak generated by Trillanes who hinted that former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, now a representative from Pampanga, and the late Angelo Reyes, could have been the big personalities behind the military corruption.
