A consultant of the First Philippine Industrial Corp. (FPIC) said on Tuesday it would take 3 to 5 years to clean up a portion of Bangkal, Makati affected by the company's leaking petroleum pipeline.
At a hearing of the Senate environment and health committees, FPIC, however, expressed confidence that residents of West Tower Condominium – whose basement served as a catch basin for the leak – could return to their units by July this year.
