Lenovo ThinkPad E450 Review by MobileTechReview

Lisa Gade reviews the Lenovo ThinkPad E450, a 14” Ultrabook that’s one of Lenovo’s more affordable in the ThinkPad Line. It’s also available with a 15.6” display as the E550. The E450 runs on 5th gen Intel Core Broadwell CPUs with Intel HD 5500 graphics.

It’s available with a matte non-touch 1920 x 1080 full HD display and there’s a 1366 x 768 option for those who want to save money.

It’s available with Windows 7 or Windows 10 (we use it with Windows 10 in this review), and you can get it with a Core i3 or Core i5 CPU and 4, 8 or 16 gigs of RAM. it has a 500 gig 7200 RPM HDD (other capacities available and you can upgrade it yourself to an SSD), dual band Intel 7265 WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and stereo speakers with JBL audio. It has the usual excellent ThinkPad Accutype keyboard and trackpad as well as the TrackPoint.

Pricing starts around $520, and our model with a 2.2 GHz Core i5-5200U and 1080p display sells for around $750.
