Lisa Gade reviews the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Android smartphone. This is the smaller 4.6" alternative to the 5.2" Xperia Z3, but it doesn't skimp on features. The phone has a sharp 1280 x 720 IPS display and it runs on the same 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core with Adreno 330 graphics as flagship Android phones.
It has a 20.7MP rear camera, front 2.2MP camera, dual band WiFi 801.11ac, Bluetooth, NFC, and a GPS with GLONASS. We look at model D5803 that has US LTE bands for AT&T and T-Mobile. This is an unlocked GSM phone available from importers in the US. It has a 2600 mAh battery and is water resistent. It competes with the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
