November 30, 2014 Highlights of National Basketball Association games


Forward Kevin Love scored a season-high 28 points and added 10 rebounds as Cleveland won its third straight game with a 109-97 victory over Indiana.

Cavaliers 109, Pacers 97

Point guard Kyrie Irving had 24 points, 10 rebounds and five assists and forward LeBron James had 19 points and seven assists for the Cavs, who moved above .500 for the second time this season

Forward David West had 14 points and six rebounds in his second game back from an ankle injury and Solomon Hill scored 13 points for the Pacers.

Wizards, 83, Pelicans 80

Center Marcin Gortat had a season-high 24 points and 13 rebounds and Washington survived Anthony Davis' 30 points.

Guard Bradley Beal scored 12 points for the Wizards and forward Paul Pierce added 10, including a three-pointer for an 81-77 lead with 2:12 remaining shortly after the Pelicans jumped in front for the first time.

Guard Jrue Holiday scored 17 points for the Pelicans, who shot 37 percent from the field.

Mavericks 110, 76ers 103

Center Tyson Chandler had a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds to lift Dallas.

The Mavericks, who also got 18 points from guard Monta Ellis, have won three straight. The visitors survived a handful of second-half spurts from the winless 76ers (0-16), who drew to within four points in the fourth quarter.

Hawks 105, Hornets 75

Forward Paul Millsap scored 18 points and point guard Jeff Teague handed out 10 assists as Atlanta sent Charlotte to its ninth straight loss.

Atlanta has won four of its past five games and is 7-2 at home, while the Hornets are 1-11 since guard Lance Stephenson hit the buzzer-beating three-pointer in a double-overtime victory over the Hawks in Charlotte on Nov. 17.

Rookie guard P.J. Hairston led the Hornets with 15 points and forward Gerald Henderson scored 14.

Clippers 112, Jazz 96

Forward Blake Griffin scored 28 points and point guard Chris Paul had a double-double of 17 points and 10 assists as the Los Angeles concluded one of the most successful road trips in franchise history with a 112-96 victory over the Jazz.

The Clippers shot 55 percent and won their fourth straight while concluding a 6-1 road trip. The only loss for Los Angeles was in Memphis.

Rockets 117, Bucks 103

Guard James Harden scored 34 points as the Rockets rolled to a 117-103 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Harden made nine shots -- including four three-pointers -- and was 12-for-13 from the line. He scored 19 of his points in the third quarter as the Rockets led by as many as 18.
