Manila, Quezon City Mayor Herbert “Bistek” Bautista, has been apologized to the public for the controversial and viral video report of the slapping incident involving him and a Chinese suspect caught during a buy-bust operation last Friday, but Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte believes Bautista was too easy on the drug suspect.
Bautista saying “Gusto ko talaga mag-apologize dahil hindi naman talaga ako ‘yan, that is not my character” and he will not apologize to the suspect who was caught with P15 million worth of shabu .
"Hindi nya rin nirerespeto ang batas natin. Hindi ko napigilan yung sarili ko. Nag-apologize ako kasi hindi naman magandang halimbawa rin sa kabataan yung ginawa ko," he said.
