Operations of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) have been disrupted early Wednesday reportedly due to a passenger who got killed after jumping into its tracks.
Commuters already aboard the train had to get off even before it reached the Guadalupe Station, where the apparent suicide had been reported.
The incident halted the train operations, from North Avenue in QC to Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong, said MRT Gen. Manager Al Vitangcol. He said the apparent suicide happened at 8:15 a.m.
An unidentified man has jumped into the tracks of Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3 Guadalupe station in Makati City Wednesday morning.
Police have arrived on the scene to investigate, the tweet added.
