October 2012 Bar Exam Topnotchers Named


The October 2012 Bar topnotchers have been named. Ignatius Michael Ingles of the Ateneo de Manila University law school topped the bar, the Supreme Court announced Wednesday.

SC Associate Justice Martin Villarama Jr. said during a press conference that Ingles garnered 85.64 percent.

Villarama added that a total of 949 out of 5,686 students passed the 2012 Bar exams. The passing rate is at 17.76 percent.
