The SM Foundation Inc. has set a written examination and interview for Scholarship 2013 applicants on January 28, 2013.
SM Foundation has been offering college scholarship since 1993 to bright but underprivileged high school graduates. The application for 2013 scholarship was on October – December 20, 2012, but walk-in applicants are also invited to take the IQ test.
SM Scholarship 2013 examination is open to all graduating students from public high schools, with weighted grade of at least 88% in the second or third grading period.
Successful applicants are entitled to benefits of full tuition and miscellaneous fees, monthly allowance, and a chance to work at SM Department Store during semestral breaks.
Walk-in applicants need to bring a photocopy of their 4th year report card, photocopy of BIR Income Tax Return or Certificate of non-filing of Income Tax of their parents, and identification cards.
