Promo Mechanics
Consumer scans the QR Code found at the back of the Cookie Monster packaging by using a QR Code scanner application on his/her smart phone.
Consumer then gets directed to the Magnolia Ice Cream website at http://www.magnoliaicecream.com.ph
At the website, the consumer will log in four (4) simple details to be able to join the contest:
a. Complete name
b. Mobile number
c. Email address
d. Official receipt number (of the Cookie Monster item bought from Ministop)
Consumer then gets a message or and downloadable image showing one of the following results:
a. WIN - the page will show the following details:
i. Quantity purchased
ii. Receipt Number
iii. A unique code (e.g. ABC123)
iv. Instructions on how to claim the free Cookie Monster that he/she won (free Cookie Monster must be claimed in the same outlet where the customer bought the item)
v. Official receipt number reflected
b. TRY AGAIN
If the customer gets the message that he/she has won a free Cookie Monster, he/she must show the unique code to the Ministop branch where he bought the Cookie Monster, as well as his/her receipt as proof of purchase. A Ministop personnel will need to stamp all receipts as "claimed" as a control measure.
At the end of the promo period, all those who joined the contest are automatically part of the grand raffle where three (3) winners will each win an iPad 3.
The three (3) winners will be chosen via drawing of raffle entries with the presence of a DTI representative at the Ministop Head Office on January 9, 2013.
Winners will be notified via phone call by an official representative of Magnolia Ice Cream.
Prizes must be claimed from the Ministop Head Office until 60 days after the announcement of winners.
