“I told them kapag dalawa sa inyo half-hearted tapos yung tatlo 100 percent, the boat will rock. We have to play all the time with heart,” pahayag ni Barako head coach Bong Ramos. “Siguro yung napakagandang laro ng Ginebra last time, their tendency is to go down but I don’t want to take away anything from our team, we played heck of a defense. They really executed the defense we wanted."
Doble effort ang ipinamalas ni Ronald Tubid sa ginawa nitong 18 points at 10 rebounds.
Maliban kay Tubid, umiskor din ng tig-14 points sina Roger Yap at Leo Najorda.
