Located along Adriatico St., Manila, the Zoo also has canteens, souvenir shops, boating rentals at the lagoon and several playgrounds that cater to children and tourists.
Manila Zoo has a land area of 5.5 hectares and has a current population of about 500 animals. There are 106 species, among which are 30 different kinds of mammals, 63 reptile species and 13 types of birds.
In addition to popular zoo occupants such as elephant, tigers lions and the hippos, Manila Zoo also houses several endemic and indigenous species of animals like the bearcat, long-talied macaques and crocodiles.
With a good mix of education and entertainment purposes, the Manila Zoo does its best to appeal to everyone.

How to get to Manila Zoo:
The Zoo is near Ospital ng Maynila and Harrison Plaza.
From North Bound to Manila Zoo:
Ride LRT Roosevelt station, then drop off at Quirino LRT Station. From there ride pedecab going to Manila Zoo. (Alternative from Marc 2000 tower ride jeep with signboard Dakota it will pass by the entrance of Manila Zoo)
From Alabang to Manila Zoo:
Ride bus going to Lawton then tell the conductor to drop you off at Quirino LRT Station. From there ride pedecab or jeep read (same as above)
From Cavite to Manila Zoo:
Ride any bus going to Lawton then drop off at Quirino LRT station.
From Laguna to Manila Zoo:
Ride bus bound to buendia Lrt Station then from there I suggest you take a taxi.
