MANILA, Philippines - The mother of slain actor Ramgen Jose Bautista-Revilla lashed back at his son's half-brother Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., saying the senator should not meddle with the issue because it's not yet election time.
"Ang patuloy na panggigigil at pagsasalita ay hindi nagpapatunay ng iyong linis ng kamay sa mga pangyayari. Huwag ka nang sumawsaw [dahil] sa malayo pa ang eleksyon," said Genelyn Magsaysay in an interview with a television station aired on Monday.

Earlier, Bong said that the decision of Ma. Ramona Belen Bautista, Magsaysay's daughter, to leave the country was a sign of guilt. Ramona, who left for Hong Kong enroute to Turkey last November 4, is being implicated in the October 28 killing of Ramgen.
Ramon Joseph, 18, tagged as the mastermind in the killing of his 23-year-old brother, has been arrested by the police along with two of the five other suspects.
