Japeth wants to be traded before going home

According to Interaktv report, the 26-year-old center wants the trade to happen before he goes back to Manila.

The player hopes his request to be traded from Talk ‘N Text, which still owns his rights, could provide him with a fresh start.

Espiritu, whose father Danny is a prominent agent in PBA circles, said Aguilar will no longer issue any more statement, leaving the ball in Talk ‘N Text’s court.

“Nasa kamay na ng Talk ‘N Text kung ano gagawin nila kay Japeth,” said Espiritu. “We are in constant discussion naman with TNT management and if there’s a development, we’ll inform Japeth as soon as possible because he’s really looking forward to play in the second conference.”

Aguilar is still in the United States and has no more commitment with any team as his contract as practice player with NBA D-League team Santa Cruz Warriors had already expired.

Reyes used social networking site Twitter to air his thoughts on a report posted by sports news site Spin.ph that Aguilar, through his agent, said he wanted out of the MVP-owned team Talk 'N Text due to lack of playing time.

In his tweets, Reyes said Aguilar's actions "smacks of selfishness" and that playing time is earned and not demanded.
