THE suspected recruiter of the Filipina who was sentenced to death in China on charges of drug smuggling was nabbed by joint operatives at the Ninoy AquinoInternational Airport (NAIA) tasked to go after human traffickers.
Ret. Brig. Gen. Salvador Penaflor, chief of the Manila International Airport Authority’s intelligence and investigation division and executive officer of the NAIA-task force against trafficking in persons, identified the suspect as Bernard Bagnat, said to be the operations manager of Win Luck Travel Agency.
