MalacaƱang had only one answer to ABS-CBN News' exclusive report linking Executive Secretary Paquito 'Jojo' Ochoa to a P40-million mansion in White Plains, Quezon City: it's not on Ochoa's Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) because he's not listed as its owner.
"He just told me it's not his house. It's not registered in his name. So why should it be included in his statement of assets and liabilities if it's not in his name? So that's the statement that he told me. He has nothing to do with that property," Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda told reporters of his conversation with Ochoa about the house.
