There is now word yet about the condition of about 1,039 Filipinos living in the province of Miyagi in Japan, which was just hit by a powerful tsunami, said Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa."I was talking to [DFA] Undersecretary Rafael Seguis, he was trying to get in touch with our embassies in Japan. He said we have approximately 1,039 Filipinos in Miyagi, pero 'di n'ya masabi kung naapektuhan na or anong condition dahil wala pang communication with Japan," he said at a press briefing.
