Some local government units (LGUs) declared suspensions of classes tomorrow, September 15, 2014 (Monday) due to Typhoon 'Luis'. The advisories were released through social media on Sunday.
State-run Philippine Information Agency (PIA) on Sunday afternoon announced that classes in all levels in Nueva Ecija will be suspended because of the typhoon.

Mayor Lenlen Oreta of Malabon City has also announced that casses in all levels are suspended tomorrow, September 15, 2014.

According to weather bureau PAGASA (5:00PM update), Typhoon Luis has maintained its strength and is now approaching the vicinity of Cagayan-Isabela.
Signal no. 3 is up in the following areas: Cagayan including Babuyan and Calayan Group of Islands, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Kalinga, Isabela, Mt. Province, Ilocos Sur and Ifugao. Signal No. 2 was raised in Batanes Group of Islands, La Union, Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Aurora, Pangasinan and Nueva Ecija while Signal No. 1 was declared in Tarlac, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan, Northern Quezon and Pollilo Island.
