Lisa Gade reviews the HTC One E8 Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone with HTC Sense 6 software including BlinkFeed and HTC Zoe.
We look at the Sprint version that’s available in your choice of dark gray or white. The One E8 is essentially the HTC One M8, but with a polycarbonate unibody casing rather than aluminum, and a traditional 13MP camera instead of the 4MP equivalent duo camera used on the M8.

The E8 is $100 less on or off contract and it has the same 5” full HD SLCD 3 display, BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers, 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core CPU, 2 gigs of RAM and front 5MP camera as the M8. The phone doesn’t have an IR blaster, but it has all the other goodies: dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and a GPS with GLONASS. It sells for $99 with 2 year contract and $499 retail on Sprint.
