LG G3 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Comparison Smackdown

The LG G3 Android smartphone with a 5.5", 2560 x 1440 IPS display. This is LG's flagship smartphone, and despite the large screen size, it's not much bigger than competing 5 to 5.2 phones.


It runs on the 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core CPU with Adreno 330 graphics, an our unit has 3 gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of internal storage. The G3 has a removable rear cover that looks like metal but is plastic, and it has a 3,000 mAh removable battery, microSD card slot and micro SIM card slot under that cover.

The LG G3 runs Android 4.4 KitKat with LG's greatly revised and toned down UI, and it has a 13MP rear camera with laser assisted autofocus, f/2.4 lens and 4k video recording. Other goodies include LTE 4G, dual band WiFi 802.11AC, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, an AV remote and GPS.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3.0 Android 4.3 smartphone with a 5.7" full HD Super AMOLED display.

The Note 3 weighs 5.9 ounces and has a removable 3200 mAh battery, 32 gigs of storage plus a microSD card slot. It runs on a 2.3GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU with 3 gigs of RAM. It features Samsung's S-Pen, like all Note products and it's great for notes and sketching.
