Anne ay nagho-host ng isang bachelorette party para sa isang kaibigan noong kinuha ang lugar bago ang insidente. Anne reportedly na nakareserba na Ang dalawang eksklusibong VIP tables para sa kanyang groupo.
Sa isang hiwalay na groupo ang Kapamilya celebrity John Lloyd Cruz , Jake Cuenca at Phoemela Barranda kasama ang kanilang mga kaibigan editor Circuit Magazine JR Isaac , Globe executive Leah de Guzmán , ang bar's owner na si JM Rodriguez , at iba pa.
Ayon sa isang blog post Fashion Pulis, Anne Curtis got "irritated" when some people not from their table kept approaching and getting drinks.” She, however, didn’t react.
When Anne pumunta sa ladies room, sinundan din siya nina John Lloyd at Jake at di-umano'y gumawa ng kalikutan by "banging the toilet door non-stop.", then anne got out at tinanong na may malakas na tinig: “Who’s banging my door?”
She saw Isaac and de Guzman nearby and slapped both. Shocked, Lloydie approached the actress and told her it was him and Jake who banged the door. Anne also slapped John Lloyd and allegedly told him “You are an addict!”
The drunk actress saw Phoemela, pointed at her and said “I can buy you, your friends, and this club!” She then turned to the club owner and said: “You know, this is the worst place to have a party!” Reports said Anne was escorted out of the club around 2am. Jake reportedly left the place earlier to avoid the commotion.
A week after the incident, Anne Curtis admitted she slapped John Lloyd Cruz. On Sunday, December 1, the actress turned to Twitter and posted the following messages to address the controversy:
