The Retail giant and land developer SM Group of Companies announced recently through their official tweeter account that the Sky Fun Amusement Park is now open this Saturday March 2, 2013 in Tagaytay City
According to emongsjournals, The newest fun destination, featuring horseback riding, roller coasters and other rides, is situated on a 5 hectare lot near Taal Vista Hotel along Aguinaldo Ave. in Tagaytay.
Having a wide parking area, it also offers amusement park for families, restaurants, and a 2,000 sqm events tent for functions and gatherings.
Among its highlights is a massive structure dubbed as the "Sky Eye." Illuminated by 20,000 multi-colored light bulbs, the ferris wheel features 32 air-conditioned gondolas, each able to accommodate four people. The gondolas provide a nice view of Tagaytay's famed Taal Lake and Taal Volcano.
Rising to about 640 meters above sea level, the "Sky Eye" is so far the highest ferris wheel in the country.
