There will be no classes in some schools on Monday, July 23, 2012 to make way for the State of the Nation Address (SONA).

DepEd: San Pablo City, Laguna: Mayor Amante has declared suspension of classes in all levels tomorrow, July 23.
Schools division superintendent Corazon Rubio had said 10 high schools and 19 elementary schools located in roads leading to the Batasang Pambansa will be allowed to cancel classes "to minimize traffic congestion." They are as follows:
Elementary: Bagong Silangan ES, Benigno Aquino ES, Commonwealth ES, Corazon Aquino ES, Culiat ES, Doña Juana ES, Fairview ES, Holy Spirit ES, Lagro ES, Lupang Pangako ES, Manuel L. Quezon ES, Melencio Castelo ES, New Era ES, North Fairview ES, Payatas B ES, Payatas B-Annex ES, Payatas C ES, San Diego ES, and West Fairview ES. High School: Bagong Silangan HS, Batasan Hills National HS, Commonwealth HS, Culiat HS, Holy Spirit National HS, Judge Cecilia Muñoz Palma HS, Judge Feliciano Belmonte HS, Lagro HS, New Era HS and North Fairview HS.
Meanwhile, Valenzuela City Mayor Gatchalian has declared suspension of classes (elementary and HS) tomorrow, July 23, due to continuous rains, the DepEd reported on its official Twitter account.
