He allegedly stole unfinished gold ornaments, hid them in his lunch bag and sold them to a worker of jewellery shop.

The general manager of the company where the defendant worked said during investigation that while preparing the annual inventory of 2009, they found that several unfinished gold ornaments were missing but did not know who was behind it.

The defendant was caught selling the stolen gold to a shop in Naif in September last year.
An Emirati policeman told the prosecutor that they were informed about a Filipino selling stolen gold to a shop. The police kept a close watch on the shop.

In September 2011, the defendant was caught as he was about to sell some stolen gold ornaments.
