Manny Pacquiao is listed as the fourth highest earning athlete in 2011, according to an annual survey released by Sports Illustrated on Thursday. Rated as, pound-for-pound, the best active boxer in the world, Pacquiao is estimated to have earned $53.5 million this year.
Topping the list was golfer Tiger Woods, whose image was tarnished by a sex scandal, and whose winnings and endorsements dropped 31 percent from the 2010 survey, but who nonetheless earned an estimated $62.3 million in 2011.
