BIG business is backing the scrapping of a plea bargaining agreement between the Ombudsman and former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) comptroller and now retired Maj. Gen. Carlos Garcia.In a statement, the Makati Business Club (MBC) on Friday said that they “strongly urge the Sandiganbayan to scrap the proposed plea bargain agreement with Mr. Garcia,” citing revelations of former Commission on Audit (COA) auditor Heidi Mendoza and former Armed Forces budget officer and also now retired Lt. Col. George Rabusa.
