Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez and Justice Secretary Leila de Lima faced off in today’s justice committee inquiry into the Garcia plea bargaining agreement (PBA) before the House of the Representatives.De Lima had been invited by the committee to share her insights on the plea bargain. Gutierrez is defending the agreement she approved and submitted to the anti-graft court, Sandiganbayan, for its approval.
