The suicide of former Armed Forces Chief of Staff Angelo Reyes was his "honorable way out," University of the Philippines political scientist Dr. Clarita Carlos said. She compared Reyes’ decision to ancient Japanese warriors committing ritual suicide when they lose honor and dignity.
