The Armed Forces of the Philippines has declared its own ceasefire to reciprocate that declared by the communist New People's Army from February 15 to 21, as a confidence-building measure for the start of the formal peace negotiations in Oslo, Norway.A spokesman announced Monday afternoon the suspension of offensive military operations starting 12:01 a.m. of Feb. 15 up to 11:59 p.m. of Feb. 21.
