It has an excellent 2304 x 1440 IPS display with wide color gamut as well as high contrast and brightness. We look at the $1,299 model with a 1.1 GHz Intel Core M CPU (dual core with Turbo Boost to 2.4 GHz) with HD 5300 graphics, 8 gigs of RAM and a 256 gig PCIe SSD. Apple also offers a $1,599 model with a 1.2 GHz CPU, 8 gigs of RAM and a 512 gig SSD. The retina MacBook has a 3.5mm audio jack and a single USB-C port that’s used for charging and for dongle adapters for USB and display out.
