Filipino John Riel Casimero destroyed Mexico's Armando Santos in 2 rounds to win an IBF flyweight world title eliminator on Saturday night at the Salon Las Palmas in Monterrey, Mexico.

Casimero, who lost his title last year after failing to make weight at junior flyweight against Mauricio Fuentes, is now in line to challenge IBF flyweight champion Amnat Ruenroeng of Thailand.
