Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao dominated his fight against erstwhile undefeated Chris Algieri, winning a definitive unanimous decision in an impressive performance in their 144-lb catchweight to retain his WBO welterweight title at the Cotai Arena in The Venetian Hotel and Resort in Macau.

The eight-division world champion and Sarangani representative looked like he would end his five-year drought of knockout wins, dropping Algieri six separate times in the fight, although the young boxer was able to limp into the end of the bout.
