Lisa Gade takes a first look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 big screen Android smartphone at Samsung Unpacked 2014 in New York City. The Note 4 will ship in Oct. 2014 and it has a 5.7” quad HD 2560 x 1440 Super AMOLED display that works with touch and the included Samsung S Pen.
It has a 16MP rear camera and a 3.7MP front camera. Samsung uses their faux leather back but with metal sides this time.
It will run on the 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad core CPU in LTE 4G markets (1.9GHz Exynos in some 3G markets) with 3 gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of storage plus microSD card slot.
It has dual band WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS with GLONAS and it runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung’s usual TouchWiz software.
