Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. Apple iPhone 5s Comparison Smackdown


MobileTechReview - Lisa Gade compares the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Apple. The Galaxy S5 runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung's TouchWiz software and UI. Inside it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core 2.5GHz CPU with Adreno 330 graphics, 2 gigs of DDR3 RAM and 16 gigs of storage.


The phone has a fingerprint scanner, heart rate monitor, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, NFC, GPS, a 2MP front full HD camera and a rear 16MP camera that can shoot 4k video. As per usual for high end Galaxy phones, it has a full HD Super AMOLED display. It's available on all major carriers.

While The iPhone 5s has a 4" Retina Display and a metal casing that's identical to the iPhone 5 except for the camera and flash placement. It runs on the new 64 bit A7 dual core CPU that's extremely fast and it has a gig of RAM. New features include an 8MP camera with larger pixels in the sensor, an improved front camera, the M7 motion processor and Touch ID for fingerprint authentication.
