Lisa Gade reviews the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, a Windows 8.1 tablet that runs on the 1.46GHz quad core Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3770 CPU.
The tablet has an 8.3" full HD IPS touch screen protected by DragonTrail Glass, which is higher resolution than other Windows 8" tablets currently on the market. It has sturdy metal frame and aluminum top cover and it weighs 0.9 lbs. The ThinkPad 8 has dual band WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, a front 2MP camera and rear 8MP camera with LED flash. Ports include a micro USB 3.0 port, micro HDMI, 3.5mm audio and a micro SD card slot. Unlike some other ThinkPad tablets, this one does NOT have a Wacom digitizer or pen. Price starts at $399 for the 64 gig model. This is full Windows so it can run exe programs like Photoshop CC and iTunes.
