Malacañang declared Eid’l Fitr on August 9, 2013 as a regular holiday nationwide via Proclamation No. 629 issued at the start of the month.




Eid’l Fitr or the Feast of Ramadan marks the end of fasting for Muslims all over the world.

3 holidays in August 2013, with Ninoy Aquino Day as special non-working day and National Heroes Day as regular holiday previously included in list of Philippine Holidays via Proclamation 295 series of 2012.
