The Sony Xperia E Dual is the dual SIM variation of the Xperia E. Both these models have the same specifications and they come with the same physical design. This one lets users have two different GSM numbers simultaneously. Available in single SIM (SRP at P7,290) and dual SIM (SRP at P7,990), the Xperia E (available in black, pink, white and gold) is the affordable new addition to Sony’s signature Xperia line.
Unlike the single SIM version, the Sony Xperia E Dual runs on Android 4.0 (ICS) OS. Sony has promised Jelly Bean update soon for this device. The 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and 512 MB RAM promises easy multitasking and speedy access for various functions.
Design
The phone weighs about 115.7 grams which is not too heavy for an entry level smartphone. Moreover, it is also only 11 mm thick. The Xperia E Dual has a 3.5-inch display with a decent 320 x 480 pixel resolution. The 1530 mAh battery packed in this device offers more than 6 hours of talk time and 530 hours of standby time.
Camera
The Sony Xperia E Dual comes with a 3.2 MP camera loaded in it. The camera sensor seems ideal for a budget smartphone. The camera shoots pictures at a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. The additional features aren't much but it has auto focus and digital zoom. There is no secondary camera in the Xperia E Dual.
Memory & Connectivity
This Sony handset has inbuilt memory of 4 GB, of which 2 GB is accessible for users. The Sony Xperia E Dual comes with a microSD slot for memory expansion up to 32 GB. The handset also has high speed internet connectivity through 3G and Wi-Fi networks. Bluetooth and micro USB port are available for file transfer with other devices.
