Carnapping incident at Balintawak, Q.C. last sunday (November 25, 2012) within the vicinity of Hyundai - North EDSA.
The carnapper, allegedly named Christopher Cruz, represented himself to be engaged in car dealership and was interested to buy my car with plate number XBG-375. He said his girlfriend is working in Hyundai-North Edsa in the name of Liza Locsin. The deal was, he will buy my car and the proceeds shall immediately be given to Liza as downpayment for the new car I was supposed to buy. Upon verification, Liza had been with Hyundai-North Edsa for around 6 years already.
We met Christopher Cruz at SM Tarlac and drove all the way to Hyundai-North Edsa to meet Liza. Upon arriving thereat, Christopher introduced us to Liza who accommodated and interviewed us. Christopher, on the other hand, pretended to have left something in the car and returned back there, leaving us with Liza. Once inside, he drove away with the car.
Unsuspecting, we stayed inside Hyundai, waiting for Liza who left us two (2) times saying she needed to prepare some documents for our signature. After the lapse of around two (2) hours, Liza broke out the news that she's not in any way connected with Christopher and she doesn't know him personally.
The incident was reported to the Highway Patrol Group in Camp Crame on the same day. With our efforts, we managed to contact the person whom Christopher was dealing with at SM Tarlac when we met him. We managed to get a copy of the Professional Driver's License he showed us for his identification.
The carnapper had been captured by the CCTV of Hyundai-North Edsa. The HPG sent them a request to issue a copy of the CCTV footage but all they gave us was this picture (above)
We hope that thru this post, we can be given assistance to recover my car and/or capture the carnapper. Thank you and more power.
