By Jester Manalastas, Journal Online  TRUE to his word, convicted Ilocos Sur congressman Ronald Singson yesterday resigned as member of the House of Representatives. He submitted his resignation letter to Speaker Feliciano Belmonte, Jr.Singson, who was found guilty of drug trafficking and sentenced to one year and six months imprisonment in Hong Kong, said that he is tendering his resignation as lawmaker for the sake of his constituents.  |
